Dennis the Menace here! No, I’m not really a menace. I’m just a happy, playful boy who runs around the yard with reckless abandon. My current loves are crinkle toys, a furry duck, and any and all treats.  Well, I just have a fondness for food in general. When I want something, I will sit up and beg waving my paws. That seems to do the trick!





I would love a play buddy or more opportunities to interact with other pups for socialization and to help me build my confidence. I am good with all sizes of dogs, but I can be a bit much for older dogs since I like be here, there, and everywhere all at once! Overwhelming commotion will rattle me as I’m a pretty quiet guy still adjusting to life as a puppy. I'm also very quiet and only bark when startled.





I’m still trying to figure out this house training thing and 


I’ve been doing my business outside in a fenced in yard.


 I am rockin’ it in the crate training department though. I even sleep there all night! I am working on the ‘sit’ command too.  I’ve only been on this thing they call a leash a few times, so I’ll definitely need more practice.





I’m just a very sweet little pup looking for a place to call home. Who is ready for all this energy and charm?

Adoption events are updated as the foster home RSVP's to attend. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. You may wish to consider applying and setting up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved.

Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.

FOSTER CARE:





All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves. NUTRITION:





Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal.
